Maureen's Haven
Our Redeemer Lutheran Church participates in Maureen's Haven, an outreach program to assist the homeless in our area. In conjunction with the Peconic Community Council and other area churches, we provide a hot meal and a safe place to sleep for guests during the winter months.
Our Redeemer Lutheran Church hosts Maureen's Haven guests on the 1st and 3rd Saturday of each month between November and March.
We would like to thank all of the volunteers who helped out this past season of 08-09. Thank you to all who helped set up, clean up, donated food and clothing and offered encouragement and shared Christ's love to our guests and to their fellow volunteers. You are all a blessing!
