Mid-Week Advent Fellowship Dinners

Wednesdays, December 2nd, 9th & 16th
December 2nd - Italian Night
December 9th - Soup, Salad & Bread
December 16th - Mexican Night
For the whole church family to break bread and fellowship before Advent Services. Dinners will be served in the Fellowship Hall from 5:45pm - 6:45pm and are wonderful opportunities for coming together in the true meaning of the sesaon.
RAKE-A-THON!
Wednesday, November 10th
Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ:
I am happy to announce the success of our Rake-A-Thon! 10 Youth, who will be traveling next July to the National Youth Gathering, were out today, on their day off from school, and raked the properties of 5 home owners, who were in need of assistance.
Not without a few moans and groans, they raked and filled up 75 bags of leaves. When the moans & groans intensified, we talked about the sacrifice Jesus made for all of us and what it means to follow Him in His example of "washing others' feet", this time in the form of raking.
Homeowners we visited expressed their appreciation and thankfulness with smiles, donuts and soft drinks. What a good feeling!
A very special thank you to the adults who drove and worked alongside the Youth, encouraging them and modelling Christian service; Lauren, Karen and Gail. We could not have done it without you. (I hope you are not too achey)
Thank you also to all who supported the Youth as sponsors with your pledges and prayers. Together by the grace and power of the Holy Spirit, we will continue to raise up our Youth in the love, fellowship and Word of the Lord Jesus.
